Bio
Lino Vite, Guadalajara, Jalisco, 1984. Egresado de la Licenciatura en Diseño para la Comunicación Grafica y Licenciatura en Artes Visuales en la Universidad de Guadalajara. Vive y trabaja en Guadalajara, Jalisco.
Statement
Su trabajo encuentra en los opuestos una forma de reinterpretación de los objetos cotidianos, cambiando su función para dotarlo de otros significados y usos, creando relaciones absurdas y en muchos casos imposibles. La exploración en los materiales es muy importante para el contenido estético y conceptual de su trabajo, que en su mayoría se compone de esculturas, instalación y dibujo.

Ha cursado distintos talleres como: El recuerdo del olvido, impartido por Héctor Bourges en 2014; Lenguaje Pictórico, procesos de creación y soportes, impartido por Hugo Lugo; Taller experimental de metodología y producción artística, impartido por José Luis Cortés Santander; Pensar el espacio de producción artística: aspectos teóricos, reflexivos y epistemológicos de la curaduría, impartido por Antoine Thélamon; Escultura y Modelado, impartido por Francesca Dalla Benetta; entre otros.
Ha participado en revisiones de portafolio con artistas como: Kurt Hollander; Humberto Moro; Sofía Taboas, Olga Margarita Dávila, entre otros.
Obra artística relevante / Premios y distinciones
En el año 2010 fue ganador en el “Primer Concurso de Arte Urbano”, organizado por SITEUR, con la pieza “Esténciles Urbanos”
En 2012 fue seleccionado en el XXXII Encuentro Nacional de Arte Joven, muestra Itinerante en la que presento la obra “ a minutos de distancia” En 2014 participo en la Primera Bienal de Arte y Diseño de la UNAM, en la categoría de Instalación, con la obra: “Sin título” (Aparato portátil que consiste en dos piezas paralelas o ligeramente convergentes unidas a intervalos por travesaños, que sirve únicamente para bajar de un nivel a otro).
En 2018 es ganador del segundo premio de adquisición Don Julio, durante el festival WIT.
Actividades y/o experiencia artística relevante
En el 2011 formó parte del colectivo Condensado, en dónde participo en exposiciones en Guadalajara y Puerto Vallarta.
Participó con el proyecto Anatema Proyecto Curatorial en las exposiciones: Márgenes del cuerpo en el 2013, y Nunca nada nadie en 2014. Muestra colectiva que se presento en Guadalajara y en Cráter Invertido, en la Ciudad de México.

Lino Vite, Guadalajara, Jalisco, 1984. Graduated from the Bachelor of Design for Graphic Communication and Bachelor of Visual Arts at the University of Guadalajara. He lives and works in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
Statement
His work finds a way of reinterpreting everyday objects in opposites, changing their function to endow it with other meanings and uses, creating absurd and in many cases impossible relationships. Exploring the materials is very important for the aesthetic and conceptual content of his work, which is mostly made up of sculptures, installation and drawing.

He has attended various workshops such as: The memory of oblivion, taught by Héctor Bourges in 2014; Pictorial language, creation processes and supports, taught by Hugo Lugo; Experimental workshop on methodology and artistic production, taught by José Luis Cortés Santander; Think about the artistic production space: theoretical, reflexive and epistemological aspects of the curatorship, taught by Antoine Thélamon; Sculpture and Modeling, taught by Francesca Dalla Benetta; among others.

Relevant artwork / Awards and distinctions
In 2010 he was a winner in the "First Urban Art Contest", organized by SITEUR, with the piece "Urban Stencils" In 2012 he was selected at the XXXII National Meeting of Young Art, Itinerant shows in which I present the work “minutes away” In 2014 I participate in the First Biennial of Art and Design of the UNAM, in the Installation category, with the work: "Untitled" (Portable device consisting of two parallel or slightly converging pieces joined at intervals by crossbars, which only serves to go down from one level to another).
In 2018, he won the second Don Julio acquisition prize, during the WIT festival.

In 2011 he was part of the Condensado collective, where he participated in exhibitions in Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta.
He participated with the Anatema Curatorial Project project in the exhibitions: Margins of the body in 2013, and Never anyone in 2014. Group show that was presented in Guadalajara and Inverted Crater, in Mexico City. He has participated in more than 10 collective exhibitions, among which stand out in addition to those mentioned above:
